”An immensely rare, 1950 model-year Porsche 356 pre-A (split-screen) Coupe with body-work by Reutter Karosserie, completed in February 1951, the year after production had moved from Gmund., chassis #5447 is among the first 500 cars produced from the first model-year of official Porsche production at Stuttgart, of which barely a handful remain complete and are still in running order. 

Delivered new in February 1951 to a customer in the United States, 5447 remained in Michigan and California until being brought back to Europe and purchased by Sean Geddes (UK) in 2001.”
